Work through the end of day checklist and close the trading day.

Closing out the day finalises your store's trading for that date and prints the end of day summary. The app checks three things first, so nothing is left half finished and the figures you print are final.

1. Open the checklist

Tap the Close Out Day tile on the Home screen.

The ring next to Close Out Day Checklist shows how many checks have passed, for example 2/3.

2. Work through the three checks

Check

What it wants

Ongoing Orders

Every order finished. Clear anything still in the queue from the Orders tab.

Open Shifts

Every shift ended. The count of pending shifts is shown, with a Close Shifts button to end them.

Deposits

Every deposit reconciled. See Cash Deposit.

  • A green tick means the check has passed.

  • Orange text is the work still outstanding, for example 1 pending shifts.

3. Close the day

While anything is outstanding the screen reads Complete the required checks to close out day. Once all three checks are green, you can close the day.

4. Print the report

Tap View Report in the top right for the day's summary, including sales, discounts and promotions, and cash movements. Print it if your store keeps a paper record.

The report will not print while an order is still open or a shift is still running. If something is outstanding the app tells you what it is, so you can finish it and print again. That way the totals on the paper you file are the final ones, not a half finished figure that changes later.

5. Print a report for an earlier day

You are not limited to today. Choose an earlier date to print the summary for a day you have already closed, which is useful when a manager asks for a figure after the fact or a printed copy goes missing.

Close out day once, at the end of trading. Do it before staff leave, since ending someone else's shift for them is the most common reason the checklist gets stuck.
