Quick Order is where you build a customer's order. This guide covers choosing items, setting modifiers, and checking the cart before payment.

You must start your shift before Quick Order will open. If the tile is greyed out, tap Start Shift on the Home screen first.

1. Open Quick Order

Tap Quick Order in the bottom bar, or the Quick Order tile on the Home screen.

  • The blue header holds two selectors. On the left is the sales channel the order belongs to, for example pos. In the middle is the order type, for example Self-Pickup.

  • The category chips across the top (Burgers, Sides, Drinks, Desserts) filter the list below.

  • Tap the magnifying glass in the top right to search for an item by name.

New: a new order now starts on an order type your store actually offers, usually Self-Pickup, instead of always starting on Dine In. Glance at the order type before you add items, and tap it to change it if this order is different.

2. Add an item

  1. Tap the item you want.

  2. If the item has no choices to make, it goes straight into the cart.

  3. If the item has modifiers, the customisation screen opens instead. See the next step.

3. Choose modifiers

Modifiers are the choices attached to an item, such as a sauce or an extra topping. They are arranged in groups, and each group tells you whether you must choose something.

  1. Each group shows a badge telling you what is needed. Pick 1 in red means you must choose one before you can continue. Optional means you can skip it.

  2. Tap an option to select it. Selected options turn blue.

  3. Options that cost extra show the surcharge on the tile, for example +฿15.00.

  4. When every required group is satisfied, its badge turns green.

New: some options are already selected when the screen opens. These are the choices your store has set as the usual ones for that group. Most of the time you just check them and carry on, and you can still tap a different option to change them.

4. Set the quantity and confirm

  1. Use the minus and plus buttons at the bottom left to set how many of this item the customer wants.

  2. Tap the pencil icon in the top right to add a note for this item, for example "no ice".

  3. Tap Confirm to add the item to the cart.

A blue bar appears at the bottom showing the item count and the running total. Keep adding items the same way.

5. Review the cart

Tap the blue bar at the bottom to open the cart.

  • Each line item shows its quantity, its price, and its modifiers listed underneath with any surcharge.

  • The order type is shown as a pill in the top right.

  • The totals at the bottom show Subtotal, Discounts, Vat (Incl), and Grand Total. The Discounts line only has a figure once a promotion has been applied.

  1. Tap a line item to reopen it if you need to change a modifier or the quantity.

  2. Tap the pencil icon in the top right to add a note that applies to the whole order.

  3. Tap Start Payment when the order is correct.

You can give the order your own order number instead of the one the app suggests. Whatever you type is kept exactly as you typed it, so check it before you take payment.

Tip: No Sale next to Start Payment opens the cash drawer without recording a sale. Use it for giving change, not for completing an order.

Next, see Taking Payment to finish the sale.
