The More tab holds everything that is not day to day serving: device setup, card terminals, and handing the device to another member of staff.
1. Open the More menu
Tap More in the bottom bar.
Operations holds Cash Deposit and Stock Activity.
Settings holds General, Printer, EDC, and Order Manager.
Printer and EDC show their connection status on the right, so you can see at a glance whether they are ready.
2. General
Tap General.
POS Device is which register this handheld is, for example POS 1. It identifies the device on receipts and reports, so set it correctly when the device is first issued.
Default Language sets the language of the app.
3. EDC
EDC is the card terminal used for Credit Card and PromptPay payments. Tap EDC to pair one.
The app lists terminals it can see under Available devices.
If the list is empty, check the terminal is switched on and paired to this device, then tap Refresh EDC List.
Tick Show unsupported devices only when troubleshooting, to see everything the device can see.
Note: EDC only appears for stores that use card terminals. If your store does not, the entry is hidden.
4. Hand over to another person
Tap Change user in the top right of the More menu. The app returns to the employee list so the next person can pick their name and enter their passcode. The device stays signed in to the store.
Tip: Use Change user at a handover, not Sign Out. Signing out disconnects the device from the store and someone has to sign in with the store account again.
5. Sign out
Sign Out at the bottom disconnects the device from the store entirely. Only use it when the device is being retired, moved to another store, or handed to support.
