Device Setup (iMin Swan 2 Pro)
This chapter walks you through setting up your iMin Swan 2 Pro device so it is ready to use with Okya POS.
1. What's in the Box
Before you begin, confirm that your package includes the following items:
iMin Swan 2 Pro Machine
Power adapter and cable
2. Connecting the Power Cable
Connect the device to a power source before turning it on.
Locate the power port on the back or bottom of the device.
Plug the power adapter cable into the power port.
Plug the other end of the adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Connecting the EDC Terminal
The EDC (Electronic Data Capture) terminal is the card payment device your customers use to tap or insert their cards.
Locate the USB port on the device.
Connect the EDC terminal's USB cable to the USB port.
Make sure the connection is secure on both ends.
4. Connecting the Cash Drawer (Optional)
Locate the RJ12 port on the device.
Connect the cash drawer cable to the RJ12 port.
Make sure the plug clicks into place.
5. Powering On
Once all cables are connected, turn on the device.
Press the power button on the top right of the POS.
Wait for the device to finish starting up. This may take a moment.
Find the Okya POS app on screen and tap to open it.
Tips
Keep cables organized. Route cables neatly behind the device so they do not get pulled or tripped over during service.
Use a stable power source. Plug the power adapter directly into a wall outlet. Avoid using extension cords or power strips that are shared with high-draw equipment.
