The Stock module tracks inventory across your stock locations: what you have on hand, what you buy from vendors, what moves between locations, and what gets counted, adjusted, or wasted.
Open it from the left sidebar under Stock. Each page in the Stock submenu has its own guide in this collection:
Stock Items: the current quantity of every item at every location.
Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders: ask for stock, then buy it from vendors.
Stock Transfers and Stock Transfer Requests: move stock between locations.
Stock Counts: physical counts reconciled against the system.
Stock Adjustments: manual corrections when the system quantity is wrong.
Waste Entries: what gets thrown away, and why.
Manufacturing Orders: in-house production, planned against actual output.
Before you start
Set these up first (each has its own guide):
Stock locations: the places that hold stock, such as stores and warehouses.
Vendor categories and vendors: who you buy from.
Waste reasons: why stock gets thrown away.
