This release is all about giving you finer control over promotions and loyalty. You get new ways to target and price discounts, a publish workflow so rules and rewards go live only when you say so, richer customer segments, plus clearer cost visibility across recipes, inventory, and manufacturing.

Commerce

New Promotion Rules

  • Channel rule — run a promotion only on selected sales channels (POS, kiosk, web, delivery apps).

  • Customer rule — include or exclude specific customers.

  • Store Category rule — target stores by their category.

  • Date List rule — run on an explicit list of calendar dates, in allow or deny mode.

  • All rules now share one consistent include / exclude mode, so “only these” vs “everything except these” works the same way everywhere.

  • Time bound rule show their schedules right in the form and evaluate in the store's local timezone, so “3–6pm” means the store's 3–6pm. Cover valley and peak hours specific promotions.

  • The Minimum Quantity rule form now shows its quantity field.

New Promotion Action: Set a fixed promotional price per item

Promotions can now set an exact price per item rather than only a percentage or amount off. Handy for "this item is $5 during the sale" offers where you want the final price to be predictable.

Publish promotions, earnings, and rewards only when they're ready

  • Promotions (together with rewards and earnings) now follow a draft → pending → published lifecycle with explicit Submit and Publish steps.

  • Customers only ever see published promotions and rewards — drafts stay invisible until you publish.

  • A published promotion can be unpublished from the “⋯” menu to pull it back to draft.

Loyalty

Reach customers with richer segments

Loyalty segments can now target customers by birthday month, birth date, and custom metadata you store on a customer. That means more relevant birthday offers and campaigns tailored to the attributes that matter to your business.

Build earnings the same way you build promotions

The earning rule builder now mirrors the promotion rule builder: the same familiar interface for defining how customers earn points. Less to learn, more consistency across loyalty and promotions.

General

Faster where it counts

  • Accepting an order at the counter is noticeably faster, and order lists load faster for busy stores.

  • Order payment and shipping statuses appear faster on lists and details.

  • Signing in with single sign-on is quicker.

  • Product images resolve faster across the back office and storefront.

  • Assorted picker and form fixes: no more flash on the first click, device pickers display names properly, and user search matches exactly what you type.

  • User search now matches exactly, so you find the right person faster.
