Understanding Base Pricing vs Variant Pricing
Okya uses a two-level pricing system. Before following the steps below, make sure you understand how these two levels work together.
Product-Level: Base Pricing
Found on the Details tab under Base Pricing. This sets the default pricing for your product.
Price — The actual selling price the customer pays. This is the amount charged at checkout across all sales channels.
Display Price — The original or "before discount" price shown to customers. When set, it appears as a crossed-out number next to the actual selling price, giving customers the impression the item is on sale. It does not affect the actual amount charged — it is purely visual. Leave this empty if you don't want to show a crossed-out price.
Variant-Level Pricing
Found on the Variants tab inside each individual variant. When a product has variants (e.g., Small, Medium, Large), each variant has its own Price field.
The Master Variant (marked with "Is Master" toggled ON) is the default variant shown to customers when they first view the product.
Each other variant has its own price. When a customer selects a different option, the price updates automatically

This tutorial guides you through setting up base pricing at the product level and variant-level pricing in Okya. You will learn the difference between Price and Display Price, how to create option types and variants with individual pricing, and how the master variant determines the default price shown to customers.
2. Access Products Section
Click "Products" to open the products management area.
3. Open Option Types
Click "Option Types" to view and manage product option categories.
4. Create New Option Type
Click "New Option Type" to start defining a new product option category.
5. Enter Display Name
Enter Option Type Name, in this case Garlic Knots Portion Size
6. Add New Option Value
Click "+ Add" to add a new option value under this option type.
7. Enter Option Names
Enter Option names, in this case Small (4 pieces), Medium (8 pieces), Large (12 pieces) as the display name for these option values.
8. Save Option Types
Click "Save" to store the new option type and its values.
9. Return to Products
Click "Products" to go back to the main products list.
10. Select Garlic Knots Product
Click "Garlic Knots" to open the product details for editing.
11. Enter Base Price & Display Price (if applicable)
Enter the selling price in the Price field — this is what the customer actually pays.
Enter a higher amount in the Display Price field — this is the original or "before discount" price shown to customers.
When set, it appears as a crossed-out number next to the actual selling price (e.g., ฿185 ฿259), giving customers the impression the item is on sale. It does not affect the actual amount charged — it is purely visual.
Leave Display Price empty if you don't want to show a crossed-out price.
12. Select Garlic Knots Portion Size Option
Click "Garlic Knots Portion Size" to assign another option type.
13. Save Product Changes
Click "Save" to apply the changes to the product options and pricing.
14. Reopen Garlic Knots Product
Click "Garlic Knots" to continue editing the product variants.
15. Open Variants Tab
Click "Variants" to manage different product variant configurations.
16. Select Desired Variant
Click "Small (4 pieces)" to assign this option to the variant.
17. Enter Variant Details & Save
Click "Save" to confirm the variant option assignment.
18. Create New Variant
Click "New Product Variant" to add a new variant for the product. Repeat this step for each additional size or option you need — for example, if you've already created Small (4 pieces), repeat the process to add Medium (8 pieces) and Large (12 pieces) with their own SKU, price, and display order.
19. Add all Variants until complete then Save
Click "Save" to finalize and save the product variant settings.
You have successfully set up base pricing and created product variants with individual pricing in Okya. To add more variants, repeat the variant creation steps for each additional size or option. Each variant can have its own SKU, price, and display order.
