1. Introduction
You will learn how to create a new property type and use it to tag products with custom properties.
2. Access Products Section
Click the Products section to begin managing your items.
3. Open Property Types
Click Property Types to view and manage different property categories.
4. Create New Property Type
Click New Property Type to start defining a new category.
5. Enter Desired Property Name
Fill in the desired property type name, in this case, Allergens.
6. Save Property Type
Click Save to store the new property type in the system.
7. Click Products Section
Click Products to go back to the main product list.
8. Select Specific Product
Click desired product to open its detailed settings, in this case, Mozzarella Sticks.
9. Access Product Properties
Click Properties to view and edit the product's Properties.
10. Add New Property
Click + Add to begin adding a new property to the product.
11. Choose Desired Product Property Type
Click desired product type, in this case Allergens.
12. Enter Desired Custom Property
Click + Add to include an additional allergen property.
13. Add Another Property
Click + Add to create additional properties.
14. Enter Desired Custom Properties
Click Save to apply all allergen properties to the product.
15. Save Product Properties
Click Save to apply all allergen properties to the product.
You are now able to create a Property Type and apply it as a custom property to products in Okya. Repeat this process to add other product properties on other products.
