1. How Promotions Work

There are two types of promotions:

Type

How it works

Automatic promotions

Applied automatically when the order meets the promotion's conditions (for example, "10% off orders over 500 baht"). These appear on the payment screen without any action from you.

Code promotions

Applied manually by entering a promo code. You enter the code at the payment screen.

Promotions are set up by your admin team in the Okya Admin Panel. You cannot create or modify promotions from the POS.

2. Applying a Promotion at Payment

  1. After adding all items to the order, tap Start Paymen to go to the payment screen.

  2. Tap the Discount button.

  3. A dialog titled Discount appears showing available promotions under the heading Select a promotion to apply.

  4. Tap the promotion card you want to apply.

  5. The dialog closes and the discount is applied to the order.

  6. A success message appears: Discounts successfully applied.

If no promotions are available, the dialog displays There are no promotions available.

If the promotion cannot be applied (for example, a required item is not in the order), an error message appears: Discount failed: Qualifying item was not listed in order.

3. Automatic Promotions

Automatic promotions are applied by the system when your order meets the promotion's rules. They appear in the Discounts section of the order sidebar automatically — you do not need to do anything.

Note: Automatic promotions cannot be removed manually. They are added and removed by the system based on the order contents.

4. Reviewing Applied Discounts

All discounts currently applied to the order are listed in the order sidebar.

  1. Look for the Discounts section in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.

  2. Each applied promotion is shown with a tag icon and the promotion name.

  3. Tap the Discounts header to expand or collapse the list.

  4. If more than three promotions are applied, scroll within the section to see them all.

5. Removing a Promotion

To remove a promotion that was manually applied:

  1. In the order sidebar, find the Discounts section.

  2. Locate the promotion you want to remove.

  3. Swipe the promotion row to the left. A red area with a trash icon appears.

  4. Complete the swipe to confirm removal.

  5. A success message appears: Discounts successfully removed.

  6. The promotion is removed from the order and becomes available again in the promotions list.

Note: Only manually applied promotions can be removed. Automatic promotions are controlled by the system and cannot be swiped away.
