Some fields will be required, while others will be optional, input the optional fields as needed. To fully understand Earning Rules, we need to define the elements for each section of the Earning Rules.

Custom Event: A user-defined action that grants points, such as completing a survey or interacting with a campaign. - Custom Event Key: A unique identifier assigned to a custom event that triggers point accumulation (e.g., "Completed Survey," "Subscribed to Newsletter"). 2. Customer Referral: Customers earn points when they refer new users who complete specific actions like signing up or making a purchase. - Referral Event Key: Determines the specific action a referred customer must complete for the referrer to earn points. There are three Referral Event Keys, and their elements are defined below: a.) Every Purchase: The referrer earns points each time the referred customer makes a purchase. b.) First Purchase: The referrer earns points only when the referred customer makes their first purchase. c.) Registration: The referrer earns points when the referred customer successfully registers an account. - Referral Target Type: Determines who receives points in a referral-based earning rule. There are three Referral Target Types, and their elements are defined below: a.) Referrer: Only the person who made the referral earns points. b.) Referred: Only the newly referred customer earns points. c.) Both: Both the referrer and the referred customer earn points. 3. Event: Points are awarded when customers participate in an event, such as attending a promotional activity or a limited-time offer. - Event Key: Defines the specific customer action that triggers point accumulation in an event-based earning rule. There are three Event Keys, and their elements are defined below: a.) Account Created: Points are awarded when a customer successfully registers an account. b.) Customer Login: Points are granted when a customer logs into their account (e.g., for daily engagement rewards). c.) First Purchase: Customers earn points upon completing their first purchase. 4. General Spending: Customers earn points based on their total spending, typically with a set points-to-currency ratio. The three General Spending rule elements are defined below: a.) Per Amount Spent: Defines how many points a customer earns per unit of currency spent (e.g., 1 point per $10 spent). b.) Spending Minimum Order Value: A minimum order amount required for the customer to earn points (e.g., points are only awarded for orders over $20). c.) Excluded Product SKUs: Specific product SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) that do not qualify for earning points, such as gift cards or discounted items. 5. Geolocation: Customers receive points for ordering from a specific location such as a store, delivery area, or promotional site. Input coordinates, then set the radius to define the desired earning area. The three Geolocation elements, and their elements are defined below: a.) Latitude: The geographical latitude of the store or designated location where customers can earn points. b.) Longitude: The geographical longitude of the store or designated location where customers can earn points. c.) Radius: The distance around the specified latitude and longitude in which customers are eligible to earn points. 6. QR Code: Points are granted when customers scan a QR code linked to a promotion, product, or event. - QR Code: Input the URL the QR code redirects to when scanned to track and validate the earning action. 7. Product Purchase: Customers earn points when they purchase specific products or product categories. - Included Product SKUs: Specifies which product SKUs qualify for earning points, allowing businesses to incentivize purchases of specific items or categories. |
